Master Gardener Beginner Vegetable Gardening Workshop

  • New Castle County Cooperative Extension Newark, DE, 19716 United States (map)

Even with the abundance of our local markets and farm stands, nothing beats the satisfaction of growing your own vegetables. This two-evening workshop will cover how to plan, plant, maintain, and harvest your own home garden- no matter the size. We'll cover soil, amendments, tools, and take a close look at over 25 individual vegetables. We will have fun, and you will leave confident and ready to garden. This is a 2 session workshop: Monday, March 6 AND Wednesday, March 8.

Cost: $20

This program is brought to you by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, a land-grant institution. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. If you have special needs that need to be accommodated, please contact the office two weeks prior to the event.
