Each summer, DEUFFC hosts an urban/community agriculture tour that features three to four different projects throughout New Castle County. The galleries below feature images from past tours
2023 Wilmington Urban Ag Loop
This year please join us in supporting The City of Wilmington Urban Greenspace Loop! This is a free public event bringing together community and green spaces. This is an opportunity to explore gardens, meet urban farmers, and learn about while enjoying refreshments and periodic entertainment.
The second loop will be on Friday, August 18th 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Each unique garden will host at a designated time:
-- 5:00PM -- 7th & West Community Garden @ 306 W. 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801
-- 6:00PM -- The Village Tree Inc. Community Garden @ 214 Delamore Pl, Wilmington, DE 19805
-- 7:00PM -- Rodney Reservoir Community Garden @ 1500 W. 9th St, Wilmington, DE 19806

2021 Tour
Our 2021 tour was held on August 7th and featured the St. Nicholas Episcopal Church Community Garden, the Master Gardener’s Demonstration Garden at the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension office and the Food Bank of Delaware Urban Farm,
2020 Tour
Taking plenty of COVID-19 precautions we held our 2020 tour on August 19th and featured Odyssey Charter School, Conscious Connections Urban Farm, the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Garden, and Bellevue Farms.
2018 Tour
Our 2018 tour included a trip to William Penn H.S. program at Penn Farm, Against the Grain Farm, Bright Spot Farms, and Coverdale Farm CSA.
