Growing the Future: The Promise of the School Garden Movement

  • Marshall Steam Museum & Friends of Auburn Heights 3000 Creek Road Yorklyn, DE 19736 United States (map)

On September 16 we will honor the work of our 40+ School Garden Coordinators and hear from our incredible keynote speaker, Brianne Studer, Director of Programs, at Washington Youth Gardens (WYG). Ms. Studer will share secrets to 50 years of successful garden education for Washington D.C. students and the importance of the national school garden movement. Join us for food, wine, music and fun to celebrate "Education Cultivation" for 17,000+ students statewide. Your involvement helps us raise important funds to keep our program and the school garden movement strong (and growing!) in Delaware.
