Learn practical examples of easy-to-care-for colorful perennials, compact shrubs, vines and small flowering trees that can transform your tiny bit of paradise into a beautiful and functional garden.
Pizza Pot, with Master Gardener Jane Adams
Do you ever wonder about the herbs that flavor your pizza? In this demonstration we will create and plant a large, round container with Italian herbs used for seasoning pizza (dough, cheese, and sauce!). This container planting will be suitable for the patio, deck, or centerpiece of a garden; and is fun for kids of all ages to make! Bonus: the container will be raffled at the end of the morning program!
Growing in Raised Beds, with the Master Gardeners
Dress warmly to tour the Master Gardeners’ Vegetable and Fruit Demonstration Garden @ the Extension office. The focus of this tour will be the construction, planting, and maintenance of raised bed gardens.
