New Ground Grower Series: Volunteer Morning at the Food Bank of Delaware

Attend the morning volunteer event at the Food Bank of Delaware urban farm. During this volunteer event, participants will get hands-on experience working on an urban farm while they learn about irrigation, season extension, soil management, and how to work with volunteers. Gloves and tools will be provided but participants should bring water and dress appropriately for being on the farm, including sun protection.

The workshop will happen on June 15th, from 8am -12pm at the Food Bank of Delaware Farm located at 222 Lake Drive, Newark, DE. The farm is located at the far end of the building, next to the Discovery Cafe.
